Rogue-Lite Unity

AMANOJAKU is a personal project developed during my various trainings.
This concept served as a support for Game Pitch and Game Concept Document writing exercises, but familiarized me with the creation of Game Design elements.

Moreover, this project is for me the opportunity to improve my skills in the creation of 2D assets.


In the long term, my will and to concretize this project by the development of a Rogue-Lite with Unity 2D based on the documents of concepts created during my studies.

Pitch

In Japan, in the middle of the Edo era, the Shogun decimated entire villages to seize the souls of innocent people in his quest for eternal life.

Jubo, a former samurai taking his nickname from the Jubokko, haunted trees that only grow on the battlefields by feeding on blood, and who laid down his sword to start his family, loses his wife and daughter in one of these bloody raids.

Taken in and cared for by a village elder who escaped the massacre, and strengthened by the spirit of his deceased loved ones, he draws his sword once again and for the last time with one goal in mind :
